Cpu将进入细分市场时代 www.6park.com Intel这几年可是真够忙的，不断推出新品。从dual core 到core 2 duo，再到 core 2 quad，最近又‘捅出’ core2 extreme。这几款主打产品，从技术层面上讲这它们的推出是突破内频瓶颈，从而另辟新径的增强了cpu的处理速度的结果（技术的东西网上有好多资料，这里也就不赘述了，说我也说不明白，汗。。）。
从商业计划的角度讲，intel的另一目的是想细化cpu市场。如果看看intel的官网（http://www.intel.com/en_UK/Consumer/Learn/Processors/index.htm）对各款主打产品的说明，我们不难看出各款cpu的市场划分很明确。下面我将对各款cpu所‘须臾’的市场作细致分析
1． Dual core我认为dual core 是intel的过渡产品即core 2 duo的前身，所以就不多说了，基本可以参考core duo的说明。
2． Dual core 之后不久推出的core 2 duo受到大家的追捧，传说中的‘两个脑袋’，从官网的描述，它针对的是多媒体市场。 “Intel® HD Boost delivers up to 70% higher performance when encoding high-definition memories from your HD video camera”其hd技术可以使读取hd摄像数据的速度增强70%。“intel® Clear Video Technology, a built-in feature of the latest Intel® Graphics, lets you enjoy an enhanced video experience with smoother playback.λ And with new Intel® HD Boost, you’ll experience up to 50 percent faster performance for intensive multimedia applications like video encoding” 提升多媒体处理速度50%。
3． 再后推出的core 2 quad, 也是现在的主流产品，传说中的‘四个脑袋’。官网是这样说的‘Encode HD video over 50 percent faster with Intel® HD Boost built into Intel® Core™2 Quad processor’，hd 处理速度提升50% , （略逊于core 2 duo的70%）。但是‘Simultaneously run demanding HD multimedia applications with up to 12 percent more speed for photo-editing, retouching and publishing’其图片处理的速度提升了12%。重点来了，这个可是在core 2 duo中没有提到的，也算是core 2 quad的独家优化吧。
4． 最后是最近推出的core 2 extreme(价格让人咂舌)。这款是给游戏发烧友用的啦。同样先比较hd方面‘Get the ultimate engine for advanced multimedia with Intel® HD Boost (Intel® HDB) built into the Intel Core 2 Extreme processor. It delivers up to 40 percent higher performance for intensive multimedia applications like HD video encoding.’同上两款比较性能上只提升了40%。然后重点来了‘With overspeed protection removed, you can tune your system for maximum performance to go where no gamer has gone before’看到没有，没有了锁频限制，可以达到最大限度的表现力（当然是游戏画面了），带玩家进入从未有过的体验（有点吹，不过也是实话）。 www.6park.com 好了，综上所述，我们基本可以看出intel在cpu市场上细化市场的战略了。通过不同的技术及优化cpu，划分出多媒体，图片处理和游戏3块市场。如果我没记错当初苹果的cpu就是优化图片处理的，photoshop的根据地。
另外说些题外的，就是cpu对hd的支持。从上面可以看到支持是在弱化，应该有3个可能性。 首先我猜是基于成本的考虑，但是从core 2 extreme价格来看，猜想应该排除（价高，性能下降）。其次我猜是hd的普及程度比较低，现在又有蓝光技术的竞争，前景不是太明朗，intel不想为它投入太多。最后一个猜想是无论从core 2 duo的70%提升还是到 core 2 extreme 40%的提升在使用上不会有太大的差别，同时又可以降低一下成本，何乐而不为呢？所以我跟趋向于后两个猜想。
